Mini Darragh’s Adventure (by Daxon)
A tribute to Mick Lally in the IFI. Win tickets.
Tonight (Monday 11 October) in the Irish Film Institute there’s a tribute to Mick Lally.
A special programme on October 11th, 18.30, marks the passing of Mick Lally, one of Ireland’s most admired and best-loved actors.
It includes the short That’s All Right (1989) and the television drama Roma (1979), in which Lally plays a lovelorn odd-job man in a chipper, a performance which Garry Hynes remembers as his finest on film.
She will introduce the programme and will be joined by special guests.
Proceeds to Pakistan Flood Relief.
I’ve bought tickets - they are on sale here - and I’d like to offer two tickets to someone who’d like to attend.
